Kieran Murphree has been a licensed attorney in New York State since 1995. Prior to law school, Ms. Murphree worked as a city planner for the City Of New York. Ms. Murphree holds both a Masters' degree in City & Regional Planning and a Bachelors' degree in Urban & Regional Studies from the School of Architecture, Art and Planning at Cornell University. Ms. Murphree received her law degree from Queens Law School at the City University of New York. Before founding her own law firm, Ms. Murphree worked as an attorney for the Mayor's Office of the City of New York and as an assistant town attorney for the Town of Southampton. In her role as an assistant town attorney and as a planning board attorney for the Town of Southampton, Kieran Murphree drafted many of the provisions in the land-use laws adopted by the Town Board of Southampton. Ms. Murphree frequently appears before zoning boards throughout the East End with projects on behalf of her clients.
